How We Insulate Homes Around the Bay
Spray Foam Insulation Green Bay seals and insulates houses, garages and outbuildings in Green Bay and the towns around it. We spray closed-cell and open-cell foam, blow loose-fill cellulose and fiberglass into attics and walls, and pull out old insulation that is matted, wet or full of rodent waste.
Every job starts with a visit. We go into the attic, the basement or crawl space and any garage or bonus room you want done. We measure what insulation is there now, look at how it was installed and find the gaps that leak warm air in a Brown County winter: top plates, plumbing and flue chases, recessed lights, the attic hatch and the rim joist where the framing sits on the foundation. We also look for problems new insulation should never cover, like a slow roof leak, wet sheathing, frost on nail tips or knob-and-tube wiring.
After the visit you get a written quote. It lists each area, the material we would use there, the thickness and the R-value it reaches. Foam goes where it earns its cost, such as rim joists, foundation walls and cathedral ceilings. Blown-in fill goes where it is the smarter buy, usually across an open attic floor after the air leaks are sealed. If something in the house needs fixing before insulation, we tell you that first.
On install day we cover floors and belongings, ventilate the work area and clean up when we finish. Spray foam needs time to cure before you go back into the space, and we tell you how long ahead of time so you can plan.
